Each one of my paintings holds a silent question that I lead into an image with a profound answer. One still image holds both the question and the answer. The unfolding narrative is a journey through emotions and a path to peace. I am grateful to create works with more sense than words can describe.
I explore the core of tradition and culture held within everyone of us. I focus on deepening the aspects of: purity, acceptance, and personal well-being. Oil painting is a slow medium and in an age dominated by speed – there is a fascination for slow living – I share this fascination and stillness received by non-moving images like paintings. Every stroke is a grounded journey into understanding and offering insights into the wisdom and flaws embedded in each and everyones heritage.
